Empowering SC/ST communities through support and opportunities.

Based on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's principles and motivation, Mr. Mithun Roy, the Chairman and veteran Entrepreneur, established Backwards Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BICCI). Our goal is to empower SC/ST youth, creating an equitable society.

This organization has commenced with the aid of 23 district chapters and seven state chapters. Its membership is expanding rapidly as more SC/ST entrepreneurs become aware of its activities and benefits.

The initial aim of this platform is to inspire Backwards (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) youth to step ahead by involving themselves in business and industry sectors as entrepreneurs. Our institution will provide all aspects of support, including financial, technical, marginal, marketing, and other aid and guidelines to simplify and accelerate the development of SC/ST communities.

Mission

To inspire SC/ST youth to enter the Business and Industry Sector as Entrepreneurs.
To encourage them to contribute to the Nation's economy through wealth creation.
To spread the influences of enterprise to other fellow members.
To spread the spirit of enterprise to other fellow members.
To encourage SC/ST entrepreneurs and support them in their ventures and all Government Schemes.

Vision

Backwards Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (BICCI) was established in 2019, to instill entrepreneurship among SC/ST youth and entrepreneurs, to develop business leadership, thereby empowering them to walk in step with the world.

The chamber operates with a three-fold mandate:

Bring together all SC/ST entrepreneurs and professionals under one roof
Become one-stop Resource Center
Promote entrepreneurship among SC/ST as a solution to their socio-economic problems

What Are We Doing?

Training

BICCI assists members with improved quality & standards through expert training programs. We arrange various training programs from central and state government institutions for our members, including training on export procedures and documentation for SC/ST entrepreneurs.

Business Networking

BICCI membership offers great value through increased exposure and marketing opportunities. Networking can gain you referrals, brand awareness, and provide knowledge and ideas to improve your business, even for established businesses.

Industry Linkages

BICCI provides access to valuable resources, discounts, and relationships that help businesses save money and market their products. Joining our chamber can boost sales and significantly improve local business visibility and credibility.

Conferences and Seminars

BICCI arranges conferences and seminars to bring together academicians and experts from different parts of the country and abroad. These events facilitate knowledge exchange and provide in-depth analysis of subjects to update members knowledge.

Financial & Tax Management

BICCI provides comprehensive financial & tax management assistance to its members. Our financial experts help with various government subsidies and schemes, as well as assistance in obtaining different types of licenses.

Trade Fairs & Exhibitions

BICCI plays a pivotal role in economic and finance policy formulation. We engage with policymakers and civil society to influence policies. Members can participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, seminars, and workshops conducted by BICCI.
